  • My new favorite actress is Kate Finnernan (left), who will soon play Miss Hannigan in the Broadway revival of “Annie.” She says of the role, “It’s so much fun to be mean. Everyone feels mean ­every day. Today you were in the subway and there was someone you saw and ­inside you thought, Motherfuckers! ­Everyone has it, so I’m just gonna put it onstage for a little while.” [NY Mag]

  • “Titanic” director James Cameron has commented on Kate Winslet‘s frequent dissing of the movie. He says, “The last thing you want if you’re a really good, versatile, chameleonic actor with enormous potential like Kate and Leo at that time, is to get locked in to everyone’s preconception of you from doing one big, iconic role … But, on the other hand, you know, it’s been 16 years, like, come on, Kate.
