Kate Bosworth‘s May cover of Company magazine is a wee bit confusing. See, in the techincolor cover image, Bosworth has her hair dip-dyed a lovely shade of blue-green. However, the last time Bosworth sported this look was last summer.
The “Life Happens” actress was kind enough to explain the hair color choice a few months back.
“When I had my hair dip-dyed blue, the reaction was hilarious,” she said. “I’d had a shoot and they decided it would be cool to dye my hair. It was temporary and I went out that night not thinking anyone would notice. The next day there were pictures everywhere.”
So was Bosworth shooting this Company cover a good year in advance? Or was this shoot for something else and Company just bought the pics?
The world may never know.
Regardless, I do have to give Company some credit for a genius headline teasing Kate’s cover on their website. The line reads: “Because she’s Bosworth it.”
