- Katie Holmes gets lots of applause in previews for “Dead Accounts.” [People]

- Yee haw! Kate Walsh is working on a new sitcom. It’s loosely based on her life and her co-writer is her boyfriend. [Starpulse]

- Some Kates who won in the election: Kate Harper was re-elected into the 61st district in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, Kate Brown won a second term as Secretary of State in Oregon, Kate Hogan won re-election for the Massachsetts state Senate, and Kathleen Kane was elected Pennsylvania attorney general.
