Last night, at a promo event for her show “2 Broke Girls,” Kat Dennings arrived in a cleavage-squishing navy blue dress. As The Gloss points out, the vibe was very, very Christina Hendricks on the red carpet. Which Dennings just doesn’t pull off with quite the same retro pastiche.
Sure, the whole “Williamsburg diner” gambit on the sitcom “2 Broke Girls” is a little cloying. But that doesn’t make the awesome Kat Dennings any less awesome. So I was very excited to see her on the December cover of Bust Magazine.
A plum quote from her interview:
“Women are sexy – the end. And you can use that power if you want to. But there’s a certain even more powerful element not using it, just leading with other things – how smart you are, how funny you are.”
