My new Kate-related music discovery? The lovely Kate Havnevik, whose album “You” has been pretty much the only thing I’ve played on Spotify this week. She is proof positive that great things happen when a Norwegian singer moves to London and, after studying jazz and classical music for ages, joins a punk band. Today, Havnevik sings ethereal, jarring tunes backed by guitar, piano and melodica. Totally gorgeous stuff.
